DUAL network security services

^*As of 10 September 2019, NETVIGATOR is the first internet service provider in HK to provide this service to household customers.

^#This is a limited time offer, and is only available to new consumer customers subscribing to or designated existing NETVIGATOR consumer customers upgrading to or renewing designated 1000M⁺ or above NETVIGATOR broadband service for designated estates with at least 24 months' commitment period; and customers will be entitled to monthly fees waiver of cyber security service NETVIGATOR SHiELD and Norton Security within the commitment period.

Features of Norton Security include computer security (firewall and anti-virus), web-browsing inspection, and identifies software and hardware vulnerabilities. Features of NETVIGATOR SHiELD include IoT device protection and identified phishing and malicious sites protection. These services are subject to relevant terms and conditions.

NETVIGATOR broadband service is provided by us, Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited, and is only available in designated residential areas, subject to relevant terms and conditions. NETVIGATOR SHiELD is provided by us, with the technologies provided by Akamai Technologies Inc.. Norton Security is provided by NortonLifeLock Inc.

⁺Bandwidth specification refers to network specifications of the subscribed services for the broadband line connected from the modem at your premises to the first piece of network equipment or central office of the NETVIGATOR network. For Fiber-to-the-Home Plans, bandwidth specifications of 1000M correspond to a maximum upstream and downstream bandwidth of 1000Mbps. For 10G Fiber-to-the-Home Plans, bandwidth specification corresponds to a maximum downstream bandwidth of 10Gbps and maximum upstream bandwidth of 2.5Gbps. The actual speed you experience using the service will be less than the network specifications and affected by your device, technology, network and software used, network configuration and coverage, usage levels, international bandwidth and extraneous factors.

^{^}According to Hong Kong's Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) household penetration rate - as reported by the Office of the Communication Authority in December 2019 - HKT accounted for more than 60% of household connections, ranking it first in terms of FTTH market share. NETVIGATOR broadband services are available only in designated residential areas, subject to relevant terms and conditions. NETVIGATOR broadband service is provided by Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited.
